When you think about the Betty Ford Center, one woman comes to mind. The former First Lady who founded and named this treatment facility after herself. Ms. Ford actually completed her own rehabilitation treatment for substance abuse and dependency at the Long Beach U.S. Naval Hospital. After her experience she spoke to her friends at great length about the desperate need for a treatment center that recognized and responded to the unique needs of women. One of those friends, Ambassador Leonard Firestone, gave her the encouragement she needed to get her dream off the ground. In 1982, they founded the not-for-profit center located in the California town of Rancho Mirage.
Although the initial thoughts of Ms. Ford were to create a treatment center for women, the center bearing her name actually treats both women and men who are suffering with addiction and/or dependency.

An all-inclusive vacation is when you are paying a set price to get a “package” deal for your vacation. This means that things like meals are included in the purchase price. Is this a savings? Well sometimes it can be but truthfully it usually isn’t. I have found that you can get stuck paying for a lot that you will not even have time to do on your vacation. I would suggest looking at what you want to do on the vacation, and pricing those things separately before going the all-inclusive route.

Water pollution has always been a major problem to the environment. With industrialization in major areas and urban cities growing the water around them just keeps getting polluted. The sad part about the whole ordeal is that water pollution can be prevented in a lot of cases.
A lot of water pollution is caused by factories near rivers and lakes doing illegal dumping. This hurts wildlife because the pollution will flow down the river hurting plants and animals. In some cases it can be fatal.
Another big form of water pollution comes from fisherman and yacht owners. People who are just out to enjoy the sun will throw their waste overboard or have a leaky engine. A lot of them don’t care because it doesn’t usually directly effect how their day is going to turn out.

Hua Hin is the biggest of the three towns and easily accessible at only three hours drive south of Bangkok. The town itself is laid back but by no means boring; good swimming beaches, water sports, golf courses, historical sites, national parks and shopping are all available to keep your days filled. Other amenities on this Minnesota camping spot include a swim beach, games room, volleyball courts and basketball court. It is truly amazing the constant thunder of sound and fury generated by the war in Iraq which we won after toppling Saddam and the current battle against Al Queda and other insurgents there as we cull a civil war from occurring. Many are critical in the media of the President’s Administration and the US involvement in Iraq. But the more we look into the situation the more it is quite evident that; we will win in Iraq and that it will become a Democracy. We can thank our troops for getting it done and the Iraqi people for their desire and stead-fastness to self governance. This will happen.
