Free Web Sites Versus Cheap Web Design

Author + June 24th, 2009 + no replies

There is a lot of discussion nowadays in forums about free web sites and cheap web design. The problem with the folks that give advice in these forums is that they are usually established in the online business. This is not necessarily bad but you will get a point of view that is geared towards utopia. Meaning that these people have a lot more money to contribute to making a website than a person just starting out or someone interested in testing the business before laying out a lot of their hard earned dollars.
I still remember when I started out on the Internet just like it was yesterday. There were so many people selling miracle products to allow me the possibility of selling on the Web. I bought some of these programs, investing around 6 to 7 hundred dollars in hopes of finding an answer to my question of; how do I get started on the Internet. I did eventually find the answer by taking bits and pieces of information from some of my investment, listening to my friends and talking to internet marketers that were really willing to give me a helping hand. Yes those people do exist but only luck will bring you in contact with this help.
The people on the forums will tell you not to partake of any free web sites or cheap web design because of one major factor. DUPLICATION!! Well I would like to shed a little light on this subject. Yes, it is true, there is duplication of web templates and article content on a bunch of sites on the Internet today. This really has nothing to do with the site being obtained as a free website. This is the fault of knowledge. Anyone setting up a website should understand that PLR (private label rights) articles used on hundreds if not thousands of related websites. Anytime a person uses a prewritten article on their site, it has to be reworded with their own content to make that article unique to their website. Not doing this will get your site knocked down in search rankings or get your site banned from searches. Either way it will be bad news.
It is a safe bet that you get a free website, cheap web design or even a moderate price web design that the articles will be PLR. The problem is in knowing this fact. If the article source is not stated by the site offering the web design, then you should ask questions about the article sources. This is very important and should not be taken lightly.
The choice as to what web design is best for you has to do with how much money you want to spend initially to set up your online business. Whether you choose free websites, cheap web design or a moderately priced web design, you will more than likely be getting articles to have duplicate content. The only ways that you will avoid this situation for sure is to write all of your articles from scratch. This will be very time consuming and tedious work for the majority of us. You see, an article not only has to have relevant content but it must contain the targeted keywords that you want searchers to find your site with.
In my opinion, you should take a fre website, revise the articles and possibly ask the company if you could get a different template placed on the free site. This way you will get a site that has relevant content articles already on the web design and will not have to write any initial articles from scratch. Use the Google keyword suggestion tool to find some high searched-lower competition keywords and revise the articles by use of these keywords, rewording sentences and moving sentences or paragraphs around in the article.
Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a free web design. You must take any website and develop it into a search ranking and profitable website design. If there was no work or costs involved in starting an online business then there would be no people working at a 9 to 5 job. Why would anybody want to go to work when they can get paid for doing nothing. This is never going to happen and if someone tells you it will that is lets say an untruth.
After you have gotten one, two or three of these free web sites up, running and making profits then you can decide if you would like to try your hand at web design. Nowadays, there are more HTML programs than ever before. Any of them will help you build a website design. There is one website design software on the market that has superb features to all of the others I have used or looked at. Click on the link and see how it works and the very affordable price. You will be amazed with the results you can get.
