Taking the Green Tea Herb for Menopause
Green tea - Over a third of all women who use herbs for menopause symptoms take green tea. Many swear that it has helped to reduce both the number and the intensity of their hot flashes. The evidence is pure anecdotal as scientific studies, however, have not confirmed this to be true. There is some scientific evidence, however, that drinking green tea does appear to speed up the rate at which you burn calories - i.e., your metabolism. One symptom of menopause is that it’s easier to gain weight and harder to lose it. Taking green tea, in the limited studies done so far, seem to reverse that tendency.
