Chicken Jerky Dog Treats - where is it available?
In 2007 a widespread dog food recall occurred under which many top brands were yanked from store shelves. One of the items removed from stores were chicken jerky dog treats made in China, which were found to contain dangerous contaminants. There were a number of reports of illnesses and death due to this type of dog treat. Does that mean your dog should never eat jerky again? Not necessarily. Although you should probably avoid store bought dog treat jerky there is no reason you can’t make it yourself at home.
