High Mileage Hybrid Cars
Hybrid cars are no doubt the most economic and fuel efficient cars available on the market today, with motoring press and consumers looking towards a 100 mpg car. This is mainly because they use a standard gas engine combined with an electric or hydrogen engine in order to deliver power to the wheels. The vehicle uses only the electric engines in urban traffic and at slow speeds and uses both engines when you are driving outside the town in order to create power while keeping fuel consumption to the minimum.
Nevertheless, carmakers across the world are also trying for other alternatives to the traditional gasoline. In Europe diesel fuel use to be considered a good alternative to gas as it offered better mileage and lower fuel prices, but unfortunately diesel prices have also increased.
