Every year after that we would rent smoky mountain cabins. It was really nice, because they were in much better condition than the little rustic shed that we had stayed in formerly. We got to try out different areas of the Smoky Mountains, so every year was a new adventure. In some ways I missed having a place I could come back to year after year, but I have to admit it was nice to always have fresh terrain to explore!
Having kids of my own, I have not had the chance to take many vacations recently, but that has finally changed. My daughter is just getting to the age where she can take a Smoky Mountain cabin vacation. This year, we are pulling out all the stops. We are renting a pretty luxurious cabin for a whole week in the Smoky Mountains. I can’t wait. I’m thinking that if it is as much fun as I remember, we might actually buy cabin of our own now.

Do you think that scrapbooking borders are still really necessary or are they becoming a thing of the past?
At one time,I wouldn’t have dreamt of creating a scrapbook without giving borders to each page.
Borders do frame a page beautifully and can often entail themes of a certain event or day that took place. I’ve often colour-coded my borders, denoting different countries visited and/or different ages of nieces and nephews when collating family memorabilia. They certainly have more uses than just adding decoration and a frame.
However; of late when I’ve been scrapbooking, I’ve deliberately not included borders.
Maybe it’s because I’ve more time on my hands now and I just want to break out of a rut but I’m experimenting & trying to make my pages more interesting. Having no borders is making me explore other options and making me literally think outside the box.

1. Ebay. I don’t know if you’ve already thought of looking here but do consider it as you can quite easily find a treasure. I don’t know whereabouts in the Country you are reading this, but don’t be put off because Ebay is nationwide. Local (to you) sellers also use Ebay and infact, there’s a website that exists that lists muscle cars for sale on Ebay too. Of course, you’ll have to bid and you may come across stiff competition. There again, you may not. It’s a bit of a gamble but if you’re serious about your muscle cars this may be an avenue worth investigating.
2. Another option, but the one that involves the most work and dedication, is to go out and find one for yourself. By this I mean; drive around and if you happen to see a classic muscle car, sitting all forlorn in someone’s yard – take the plunge and find out if the owner’s interested in parting with it for cash. I’ve actually known this work for some people, so at least consider it. Chances are if the car’s just collecting cobwebs, the owner may not know its worth & you could end up with a real bargain.

Have you ever had a defining moment in your life when you knew that things would never be the same again? We all experience these on a global level as well as a personal level. I thought I had found the perfect prom dress. Okay, not true; I thought I had found an okay prom dress. It fit pretty well, but it just wasn’t my style. A NEW 550-bed hospital in Jurong will open by 2015, said Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan yesterday, almost a decade later than originally planned.The long-promised hospital was put on hold in favour of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in Yishun, which is slated to open in 2010 and provide much-needed beds for the north.Mr Khaw told the media yesterday the tender for the Jurong hospital could be delayed until 2010 because of sky-high construction costs.

THE Greenspan Federal Reserve never cut the funds rate by more than 0.5 percentage point at any one time.The Bernanke Fed has done so twice in two months. Sharp reductions in the funds rate have been supplemented with numerous other initiatives.
