Finding a viable answer to aging in the form of HGH

Aging is usually defined as the process of growing old. When we talk about aging, we usually have in mind wrinkles, bad memory and gray hair. These typical symptoms of aging get progressively worse over time, starting from around age 35-40. By the time we are 60 plus, we would expect to be unable to do many things we used to do with ease, 30 years ago.

There are a few theories on aging, but one of the strongest theories has to do with the hormonal aspect. Scientists studying aging have correlated aging with diminished hormones, chiefly testosterone and estrogen, but since the past couple of decades, attention has shifted to the master hormone behind them, the Human Growth Hormone.

Human Growth Hormone is more commonly known as HGH, and is now seen as a key player in understanding, and battling aging. This hormone decreases a great deal concurrent with aging, and its levels are very low by the time we are past age 60.

HGH plays a key role in cellular lifespan by maintaining cell health and function. Naturally, a decrease of this hormone due to advancing age means that the cells will die out faster, and this could very well be the main driver behind the aging process.

Due to advancements in our understanding stem cell research and telomeric engineering, medical scientists are hopeful for a long term solution for aging. At the same time, judging by the key role of HGH in maintaining the body’s health, HGH is definitely increasingly being seen as a key ally in the fight against aging.
