For women who have always been active, exercise during pregnancy is simply a matter of limiting extreme physical movements such as weight lifting, diving and bouncing. For those who have up to this point lived a sedentary lifestyle, it is simply a matter of getting on a program of moving more. Either way, it is important to get the advice of your obstetrician before beginning any sort of exercise program.
