Camcoders Some History
It was in fact in the year of 1982 when Sony released the first ever professional camcorder, and although at first there was not really a liking taken to it, soon after camcorders were considered as being all the rage. Throughout the 1990s, camcorder sales had the unintended side-effect of actually hurting the still camera photography market, and among the mass consumer market, camcorders gradually replaced still cameras for that of vacation and travel use.
